Eliminates the double chin through microinfiltrations
Submental area ( Gill ) is a place where fat accumulates producing the effect of “double chin”.
This technique involves applying a product, deoxycholic acid dissolves fat by microinjection . The Belkyra is an acid which occurs naturally in the body, but in this case is a synthetic preparation of non – animal origin.
When it injected into a specific area, always with a previous diagnosis of a plastic surgeon or medical specialist, occurs again and is subsequently our body. At the same time retracts and redefine the jawline, and all this without surgery.
The first thing that is done is to mark the area for microinjection into fat we want to eliminate. Treatment is slightly painful and we recommend using local anesthesia, cold and oral anti – inflammatory.
The most common effect is swelling of the area, which could last up to 72 hours after treatment. They could also be bruising, itching, redness and general discomfort. Some patients notice numbness in the area or partial loss of sensitivity.
Depending on each person may need from 2 to 6 sessions , spaced 4 to 6 weeks. Each session lasts about 30 minutes. The following chart (provided by laboratories) we can see for whom this treatment would be indicated:
